But plop in some lemon and lime slices with a bit of mint and you have an elegant beverage to serve. It’s crisp and refreshing, and pretty, too.

📖 Variations

Now of course, if you like, you could substitute the lemon sparkling water for white wine and add a splash of lemon-lime seltzer water instead. Or, use lemon-lime soda instead of sparkling water.

During the holidays, I like to add a splash of cranberry juice or pomegranate juice.

Since there is no alcohol in these, they would make a lovely drink to serve at a baby shower.  The green and yellow colors are so pretty together, I think.  I mean, you could plan a whole baby shower around those colors for a mom who’s going to be surprised by the gender.

💭 Frequently Asked Questions

How do I keep my drinks from being watery?

Make your ice cubes out of fruit juice or lemonade instead of water. As the ice melts, it will add flavor to your drink, instead of watering it down.
