“This Target Litter Genie & Fancy Feast post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group®, Litter Genie® and Fancy Feast®, but all my opinions are my own. #Pmedia #Catparents #ad http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV”
Recently, I visited my youngest sister and her adorable kitty “Little Critter” down in North Carolina. We had the best time! And while I was there, I decided I would spoil my little ‘nephew cat’ with some gifts. Little Critter really is a spoiled cat – my sister lavishes tons of love and affection on him. He’s super playful, very curious, and the king of the house.
I got such a great deal on gifts for Little Critter by shopping at Target. Right now, they’re offering an In Store Mix & Match Offer: Buy any TWO (2) Fancy Feast® – 24 pack OR Litter Genie® Pail/Refill and get a free Cat Toy or Friskies party mix cat treat. Offer available 2/15/15 – 4/11/15. (While Supplies Last).
Little Critter loves the Fancy Feast meals – I think the beef are his favorite. It’s nice to know that Fancy Feast uses high-quality protein sources and ingredients.
When it came to the Litter Genie Pail, he wasn’t so sure. It took a little sniffing and pawing before he decided it might be ok! My sister put it together and we tested it out. It doesn’t take up a ton of space, and it’s easy to move with a carry handle. The Little Genie comes with a really good scoop and is supposed to have an air-tight designs to keep smells in, even when the lid is open – so much so that the waste is sealed away for up to 14 days (for one cat). We were a little disappointed in the way it snapped together though – maybe it was just ours, but it didn’t seem to latch shut tight. That being said, after 5-days, there’s no smell at all, so it’s working great so far.
The refill bags fit in easily, although we feel that for your first use, you’ll want to pull the bag down a little more than what the directions recommend. Now, it’s been awhile since we’ve had a kitty of our own in the Juggling Act household, but I clearly remember the most unpleasant part is dealing with the cat litter. This way, you can contain the smell!
Critter Cat is one handsome fellow – look what a gentleman he is here! He’s quite satisfied with his delicious Fancy Feast meal. And his mom is very happy her house doesn’t smell like cat litter – or worse!
