Hi! My name is Kathleen and I blog at Fearlessly Creative Mammas with my oldest daughter Samantha. We blog about all things creative, at least to us, like crafts, recipes and family activities  We have a lot of fun with it and we hope you will come over and browse. Maybe you will find something to spark your interest. I’d like to thank Ang for having me here today.

When I was trying to decide what I was going to make to share with you today, it was snowing pretty hard outside. I really dislike the snow and winter, so I wasn’t too happy about it. I decided to make something bright and cheery for my door and I came up with this wreath. I hope you love it! I got all of the supplies from JoAnn Fabric and Crafts. I love that place!

The first thing I did was paint all of the flowers different colors. I wanted lots of color. When they were dry I added a little detail, sprayed them  with acrylic sealer and then hot glued a button on each one. The buttons were an after thought, so they aren’t on this picture.

The next thing I did was cut the fabric into strips and wound it around the foam wreath, hot gluing it in place as I was winding it.

I covered it completely, pressing it down as I went to hold it in place.

Ta-Da, it’s covered. This took about an hour and I only burned myself about ten times.

Next I made a hanger out of the same fabric to hang it on my door hook.  Finally, I hot glued the flowers on the wreath, making sure to spread out the colors well and added a bow. Then I hung it on my door. It looks so much brighter. So much better than snow.

I hope you love the wreath I made. Please stop by and visit us at Fearlessly Creative Mammas and let us know you stopped in.  Thanks so much Ang for having me over today.
